Has anyone else been enjoying this morning.... I remember fondly the times I've attended with my family to see it in person but It's great to watch even on tv.
Nice to see the royals in their full military get up too.

Each to their own, but the thought of watching a bunch of pampered, privileged interbreds being indulged in what we like to think is a society based on merit, not on who your parents are. Added to the fact that I'm supposed to be one of her 'subjects'...nauseates me.

It was lovely to see the respect for the troops and the royal family.... They showed a montage of previous celebrations and you forget sometimes the strong link between the royal family and the armed forces...
This year has created a whole new generation of support and love for our royal family... And it has been nice to see the programmes that show that behind closed doors,Her Majesty is a mum and grandmother and in fact great grandmother... She really has done an outstanding job and I hope that she enjoys a few years rest after her grueling work schedule.

We really enjoyed watching it this morning! Love all the pomp ect! Didn't the queen look happier with her husband by her side! Good to see Philip up and about |
