Hot Tubs

Hi all,

I was just wondering whether I'm the only person never to have been in a hot tub...I can see the attraction if it were a weekend away / spa trip perhaps, but to have one at home and invite endless number of folk into it just does nothing for me...human soup?

I've only got a Lay-z-spa (blow uo one), but i love it. Its very relaxing.

I tried to cover it with a gazebo, but now I've built an enclosure around it.

Love mine, it's mainly physio for me seen as couldnt get physio etc up until now. I look after it, top up chlorine daily as its used every evening and has gazebo with curtains for protection from the elements plus like to skinny dip. Deffo not a sex soup pool.

But a bath that’s big enough!

That said, my neighbours have a hot tub in a shed.

That’s too much like having a shit outdoor bathroom to me.

I have one and I don't invite anybody into it other than my husband. It is chemically checked daily, Ph balanced, algae free and absolute heaven every evening before bed. They are not designed to have sex in them, water friction is painful anyway!!

Wanted to build a tiki bar and attached sauna and hot tub.. Out the back on our decking. but good lady wanted a new bathroom and earrings .. oh well perhaps next year ..

I had one but my brother was looking after my house whilst I was in holiday (back in the days when you could go) and I fou d out he'd shagged his girlfriend in it...... Cue a huge job to empty it, clean it, disinfectant and try to erase the vision of him and his ugly missus defiling my peaceful space!

I love my inflatable hot tub. Great for my bad back after a long day, chlorine tested and topped up daily, pH balanced, and emptied and cleaned every 3 weeks or so. It's pretty much only me that uses it so it's definitely clean.
