Do you remember listening to them, before they went all trendy and festival-like?
I remember listening in on the radio - 1053-1085 medium wave, obvs. Considering that nobody had self publicity like Twitter back then, those radio presenters were big stars.
I’m not very cool so only went to one, in a leisure centre car park where the weather was overcast and the host was Steve Wright. This was back when he was a safe version of Kenny Everett, rather than who he is now.
