Hi people of fab.
I have just been thinking..I turn the grand ol age of 45 next month and I see on a lot of profiles that seems to be the maximum age that people like..
Has anyone else noticed this and do you think it will be game over ??? Not that it’s ever been game on at the min... |

I'm 49 so I hope 45 isn't too old!
I don't think age matters. If there's attraction then age doesn't figure.
Personally I rarely look at the age on the profile and I don't block messages by age either.
Even if they have a top age of 45 they can still allow any age to message. And there's always flirting on the forum - if they message you first the filters don't count.

It arguably depends on how good you look for your age - if we'll preserved then you might do better than someone like me who looks older thanks to the grey hair.
You might struggle slightly online, because some folks set their age limits rigidly and anyone older can't message them, which can be frustrating, but forget it and move on. Maybe when times allow try more social events.
So it's not the end, by any means, but it might narrow your prospective field a bit that's all |

I wish I was still 45!
Try being 62! Even though I don't look 62 it's proving difficult to get anyone interested in me,so many profiles have 50 or 55 as their maximum age & have blocked messages from anyone older. |

By some dint of good fortune I have made it to the age of 80 by which time ones aspirations have diminished, luckily there are still people on here who have not bothered to change the default age range of 19 to 99, you just have to seek them out, not easy though. |

Does your mind say its too old, do the responses say you re too old...age is how YOU feel it. If you feel old then old you shall be, if you feel young and tbh you re not old, you re in your forties. Enjoy...  |

Was a big deal crossing 40 in here, suddenly you can't message ppl because you're outside their age range, but then why would I even want to message someone who's decided they're not interested because of my age. PMFITS....  |

Yep. Mine is currently 45 but it was 40 when I first joined and 35 on other sites I used when I was 20.
Being under 30 I'm regularly outside of people's age ranges. Even with people a similar age as some only want older. |

Age can be important to some ....for Sue she likes guys older than 40 as they are not as excitable lol |

OP 45 is not too old at all.
Since hitting my 40's my sex life has exploded into life and it keeps getting better.
Seek out new experiences and have fun on the way, its awesome

Age is only a barrier in the swinging community while “online”, people use age filters on here to eliminate unwanted attention from age groups they feel are too old or too young for them.
Our experience is that in physical swinging scenarios, I.e meeting in a club, a party or on a swingers holiday, nobody asks your age. It’s all down to physical attraction when face to face.
An example of this is a lady we played with at a party, she was early 30’s, we all had a great time, and the next day when we found her profile on fab, we couldn’t message her of friend her, because we were outside her age filters. So in fab world our hot session would never have happened, but in the real world it did.
Relying on fab to get some fun, is massively reducing the chances for a lot of people. |

Yes I noticed a lot of ladies cut off at 40 , they must think we’re past it after that .. I’ve never been fitter personally |
