- hearing what a wonderful time my partner and metamour had at a thing. That's made me very happy.

Catching up with my elderly garden neighbour for the first time in a while. He gave me some seed pods, a little squash & an amazing piece of pottery he found in his plot, as well as loads of advice. I'm eating the squash & the first courgette from my patch right now.

Oddly enough, I cleared most of my garden during lockdown and my neighbour warned me I may have mice or hedgehogs in the piles of wood at the back. And to be careful when moving it. I was disappointed when I never saw any. I've been here 13 years and never spotted one so I was delighted!

I've noticed a massive decrease in slugs lately. The hedgehogs went straight for the decking where my hostas are. Very entertaining watching them
