Feel a lot more accepted by regular folks than i ever thought I would be so I want to thank you all for that.
I've made some brilliant friends, been introduced to clubs which covid had gotten in the way of so i can't wait to pick that up again and found a lot to look forward to after some tough times.
For all the sites foibles and quirks, the people of Fab are what have made it a wonderful place to spend my time and hope I put a smile on others faces like they do on mine

Made me realise that love is often confused with lust.
I also realised through experiences that my lust needs to be in line with my principles in order to fully enjoy the sense and essence of sex.
I now understand better what Wilde said by 'sex is about power' and I now pick wisely who I get intimate with, be it sexually or not. |

For once I am going to be serious 
Fan, in particular the forums has boosted my confidence and self esteem.
The acceptance, encouragement,and friendliness I have encountered has helped me step away from (literally) decades of self doubt, denial and at times self hate. I believe the couple of years I have been here have done more for my wellbeing than anything else I can think of.

A reawakening of a passion in drawing and a huge learning curve in the new subject matter.
All the thoughts and ideas I had whirling in my head are quite normal and the opportunity to experience them and others fully

Good and bad things.
It's taught me to love myself. I am much more body positive than I used to be.
It's taught me I am perhaps too trusting sometimes.

That actually I am attractive to some people.
That sometimes leaps of faith and joining the dots are the pathways of life and that you shouldn't be afraid to take them if it feels right.
That it's possible to find friendship and more where you least expect it and be able to be open and honest and not be judged.

Friendships that mean the world to me.
Pre-fab (not sprout) I probably wouldn't have given TVs the time of day. Not in a disrespectful way, but in a "well we clearly have fuck all in common" way. I was so wrong, and couldn't be more thankful to have met my friends and see them as family. They've taught me so much about me without even trying and I can't imagine my life without them. They taught me the value of true beauty.
That I am a crazy diamond and it's perfectly ok to shine on my own way.
That my moral fibre is pretty hard-core.
To own who you are. Everyone has a backstory that's shaped who we are or why we do certain things. It's nothing to be ashamed of, it's part of our lives and by sharing our own experiences we can help others without even realising |
