It seems to be a trend atm that in order to compliment me, some men are putting other women down.
For example:
"I love your curves, cant stand skin and bones"
"Real women have curves"
"Women should aim to be your shape instead of 6 packs"
This does nothing for me.
Nothing.
You can tell me you like my curves with any additional comments.
Confidence and beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.

Indeed! Blokes making "compliments" like that are often sly and second guessing at what might be your insecurities in an attempt to magnify their "compliment". I think it's kinda lazy and sleazy. Why put anyone down ever really - it's unproductive and mean spirited....   |

Exactly.
I love my curves and big boobs, but I am sexually attracted to smaller boobs and women.
So putting them down does not boost my confidence, it irritates me  |

A lady at work was describing her daughter who’s apparently ‘very overweight’ in her words then said to me ‘ a bit like you’ As if I need it pointing out ffs ! |
