On a mooch

If I was at home I’d have the air con fan on.

Where I currently am only choice is a cold shower and hope I fall asleep quickly or I put some flannels in the freezer and then place one on my back to sleep, if my core is cool I’m good to go

Have an air cooling fan. Has a filter which you soak in water and freeze and add water to a small reservoir.

Blows out cool air

It was even hotter on the continent today best practice is to lower all the shutters during the day which will stop the rooms heating up and becoming stuffy later.

Though don't know if it works with curtains

Been raining here. But i tend to have my window open a crack and then lay on top of my duvet.

I don’t like my window being open because all the local spiders turn into SAS commandos and infiltrate my bloody bedroom.

Some tips for keeping cool in this sweltering heat for all you hot, hot fabbers.

1. Fill a hot water bottle around 3/4 and place in the freezer. Presto! Cool water bottle!

2. Fill a baking tray full of ice and place it in front of your fan.

3. Go old school. As in ancient Egyptian old school. Dampen a sheet or towel and use it as a cover.
