Transvestites I’m Disguise
Jump to: Newest in thread
Today there was a forum thread about wether or not the pictures on your profile are a true and honest reflection of whom you are .
There were many varying degrees of answers , ranging from Yes , no , maybe , perhaps , some photoshopped etc etc .. My own answer was “ Bloody Hell No “
It got me thinking though , that although I promote honesty and trust as written in my profile , my pics are only of a part of me! A disguise if you like , never to be recognised for whom I am everyday . Therefore not a true reflection of myself at all .
Is this deceitful ? On a site like this on my other profile on the other site I have one pic of me in male mode ..Should that be the case here .. Or is it purely protectionism , if I post a male mode picture of myself here and get recognised then they will know about my other side too ?
Be interested to hear people’s thoughts |

It's an aspect of you though, no? I don't see it as deceitful, especially given the additional info you offer around it. |

Yes agree it is an aspect and a big part of whom I am , However perhaps it’s not the whole truth . Say someone wanted to meet a female perhaps because I am generally into females although I am bi . Is it wrong that all they see is this side ? ( yes I know we could do picture swop a more covertly way .. )
It’s just got me wondering today |

I sometimes feel the same as the reality is is that my one on one meets will likely be as a guy although my club meets will be as I'm seen on here.
I can meet dressed but it does have restrictions as im not totally out so safe venues only like clubs or Canal Street in Manchester etc.
I do have male pics on here but usually set to private, I don't want to be found out by all and sundry in my day to day life as a dresser as it doesnt have any meaning for them yet many would use it as a way to ridicule me, I work in an extremely male environment and it would make life hell for me if it got out, homophobia and transphobia is rife but I am working on them slowly but surely.
As I see it, as long as youre open with those you interact with on here then it's not really a problem, very few of us CD'S totally pass as it's called and that is fine with most thankfully.
Just enjoy who you are, share both sides of you with those you feel comfortable doing so with and try not to fret over it. None of us are universally liked and that goes for everyone, not just 'girls like us' |

"Do you meet in male mode on here or only as Crystal? I guess if you only meet as Crystal then I would say it is a true representation x "
I would meet in male mode and then dress . I don’t have to dress , I just like dressing and playing Crystal ..x |

I dont think you need to worry then, as said before, as long as you and those you meet with are happy, that is all that matters x

I don't think it's deceitful at all. People only ever show the side of themselves that matters. If they want sex they show their sex side. If they want dating it's deeper than just sex. Work life is a different side again. |

Couldn't have put it better myself Sophie. I am only really interested in females, and have now been lucky enough to meet 3 both socially & sexily to different degrees. All know me as both guy & girl me. 2 are cool with Gemma & positively want her, one is not so sure & struggles to understand it totally but is a great friend & chat buddy.
The main thing is that they all learned about Gemma first, not as a shock later on. That's how I wanted it. I'm quite happy to be versatile & meet as either guy or girl, Gemma is how I present but she is not compulsory at all. It gives me a safety net to assess if the girl I'm talking too is open & trustworthy enough to get to know in real life & then reveal all once I know I can. One side of me always hides the other but I love having a few close confidentes who know me in both guises. It feels like an amazing proper freedom. X |

I do get that totally that by portraying this side here and now , we are not introducing at a later date to shock and horror .. as it were .., I’m sure most TVs know how difficult it can be to come out once in relaitionship ( not all admittedly ) best be known for what we do at the outset
