Try putting a bet on around the 85th min, a bit like Mr Plod and his predictions.... |

The Irish FA are said to be disgusted with some of the controversial refereeing and tactics used against them in this years Euro's and are prepared to launch a protest using tactics similar to one used by the Scottish national team.....
It involves not taking part in any further international competitions. |

maybe roys the man.
england were up for it,the heads didnt go down, when they lost the lead, and went a goal down.
maybe not technically the best england performance, but definitely the grittiest,in a long time.
i know the juries still out on andy carrol, but i thought he was brilliant tonight,he worked so hard.

if it had been ol' harry managing england last night we would have gone out all guns a'blazing, then lose 6-3 but at least us baggies would still have roy the boy) to manage us next season!.
good luck roy!~. |

That's how the pundits explained it after the game but that's not in keeping with how the Premiership is run. In the PL head to head matches only come into play if pts and goal difference are exactly the same. It seems ridiculous to have a mini league system where the goals scored and goal conceded are irrelevant. |

Group B final games:
Denmark v Germany
Portugal v Holland
Results to watch out for:
Holland 2 Portugal 0 (with Denmark losing by any score) sees Holland go through with Germany.
Denmark 2 Germany 0 AND Portugal beating the Dutch sees Denmark & Portugal go through and Germany go out.
Reality check: Germany should win comfortably which pushes Denmark out and the winner of Portugal/Holland will go through. |

"Which game should I be watching tonight in terms of what might happen if England go through?"
Italy will probably beat Rep of Ireland but if Croatia beat Spain (unlikely) then Croatia will go through as winners of Group C with Italy as runners up, which means that England will face Croatia if we finish second in our group, or, we'll face Italy if we win our group.
If Croatia draw with Spain tonight then they'll both have 5pts and as the head to head matches between Spain, Italy and Croatia were 1-1 draws it will go down to goal difference, which will put Spain through with Italy second if they beat Ireland by three clear goals.
Got it?
Basically, we want Croatia to stuff the shit out of Spain and Italy to win. |

Playing any of them would be difficult. Beating Croatia or Italy not beyond us or our style.
That aside you have to beat the best and Spain and Germany are the ones we'd need to in order to succeed.
Ireland have been awful, don't give them much hope against the azzurri. |

"We now who we'll be facing if we get through tomorrow - either Spain or Italy. oooer..
Im trying not to get excited....but I am just a likkle likkle bit"
A point will do tomorrow.
We drew 1-1 in our game against the French, so if both matches are drawn tomorrow we'll go through top of the group based on goals scored so long as our result is better than or the same as France's (1-1/0-0 or 2-2/1-1 etc) and then we'll face Italy. If they draw and we win we'll go through top anyway. |

Here's the permutations:
If we win our group tonight we'll face Italy in the QF
If we come second in our group we'll face Spain
If we play Spain in the QF, and beat them, we'll meet France or Italy in the SF (assuming France go through tonight)
If we play Italy in the QF, and beat them, we'll meet Spain or France in the SF.
We can't meet Germany, Greece, Portugal or the Czech Rep until the Final, if we get there.
Simples.
Good luck England!! |

I've got the first two QFs right so far - Portugal and Germany through to the semis. I've got Spain to beat France tomorrow and England to beat Italy on Sunday.
That makes for a Spain/Portugal and Germany England seni finals.
That's it for England I fear as I can;t see us beating the Germs.
Spain will beat Portugal leaving a Germany/Spain final.
Which Germany will win.
That's my predictions. 10/1 anyone? |

germany have been the best team,by a country mile,i hope they win.
spain,i love their possession football, but playing with no striker,is just a step to far.i hope they get fucked.
england have shown a much improved attitude, but i've just got a feeling the italians, will win the tournament.
ps wishy you'll get better than 10/1 in the bookies for that bet,get it on. |

Prior to last nights match my missus was shouting for the Greeks, but I said that if the Greeks win I'll suck a blokes cock, and sat down ever so confidently with a beer.
Don't mind admitting though, that when they equalised I was looking round for the strawberry lipstick and I developed a nervous twitch |

I just watched Roy Hodgson being inter_iewed and he was speaking fluent Italian. I was impressed! I then looked him up on Wiki and he speaks fluent Norwegian, Swedish, German and Italian, as well as some Danish, French and Finnish. Clever bloke! |

I've got a feeling he's the "one"
I was shouting for Harry, but thought Roy would be in the mix too.
I'm happy he's there and the players seem to like him too.
Can't wait for tonight |

Like 90% of the population I was disappointed as Hodgson's appointed as England manager and wanted Rednap too, but I was wrong, he seems to be a 'players manager' and has an impressive CV. He's said that as far as we go in this competition is as far as he expected us to get, but if he takes us to the semis, or even to the final, I think even he would be surprised. He's also a realist and he knows that the next World Cup is in Brazil. Fifa might just as well put their name on the trophy and fly it over there now, which is why I suspect that he said he was looking at Euro 2016 as the tournament he expects England to build for. |
