i think a lot of 'stocky' or lightly chubby guys use it to describe themselves as they feel ample or large is too big to portray them, but they know they are bigger than 'average' (whatever that is)
ample or large also carry more negative conurtations than curvy does |

i disagree, but this is only my opinion, i have nothing against men who carry a bit of weight and if a guy was 'chubby' and put ample i feel thats fine, if i read a profile that says curvy even tho he looks the same to me the curvy bit is just a instant turn off, to me the expression curvy to describe a figure is just femanine and no man should look at himself and think hes curvy
thats just my opinion on the subject tho |

but aren't the best ones the ones that are clueless to just how good looking they are ?
or better still, are aware of it but don't actively use it as a means to getting a meet.
it's all very well meeting a good looker, but give me one with something to back it up than a vacuous buffoon who relies entirely on their looks to get them places |

incidentally, it is my take on it too
hence why i put my own size as large
but having met a couple of lads who describe themselves as 'curvy' that was their reasoning behind it
i do think if there was a 'stocky' option, then a lot of the 'curvy' men would disappear |

"Repeats question... What does "Fabulous" actually mean? Mildly chunky, festively plump or seriously striving towards bigger standards? "
heaven only knows
for me it always conjurs images of bubbles de vere
'fabulous dahhling'
best thing is, if in doubt, take a look for yourself and apportion your own 'label' |

Not sure - but would prefer to see 'fabulous' any day rather than 'average'!!! Average is such a cop-out!! |

I put curvy, as it's not got "fat ugly bird with saggy tits and hump/wooden leg/glass eyes and fanny hair resembling rolf harris' beard" option
I still get the occasional shag, mostly from blind dwarves from Lithuania with huge cocks
(no offence to blind dwarves from Lithuania with tiny cocks) |

looks only last so long.
when it all heads south and the 'beautiful people' havent managed to get past their great looks and develope a decent personality, then they will be in trouble.
us fuglies will be just as fugly, but we will have a personality right up until the alzheimers takes it away from us.
by then we will be pissing and shitting ourselves anyway, and probably unable to manage a fuck, let alone remember what one was. |

There are generally well known levels of what is deemed to be attractive and not. If someone feels that they are attractive, I would not take it as gospel but it is a good sign and they would appear to be a confident person which is also a positive attribute.
We would respond to a guy who mailed us to say that he was a single, good looking guy who looked after himself physically, dressed with style and was a non smoker. If his pics indicated that this may be true so much the better.
On the other hand people who say - we are not glamour models - and - we are past our best - what are they really saying? Lower your expectations if you want to meet us? Then you look at the pictures to find haphazard pics with no effort to create a sensual image.
Give us attractive and confident any day. |

Not sure I agree with that. We have all seen people (let's use a guy as an example) - Unkept hair, yellow and missing teeth, overweight, badly dressed. This starts in their thirties yet there are plenty of guys in their sixties who look good because they make an effort and continue to make an effort.
"Letting go" is a cop out and lazy.

depends how you define looking good tho
yeah anyone can make an effort and be clean, wear nice clothes but if your not into the older look no matter how well they look after themselves they arnt going to look good if your not into older men with wrinkles
You cant stop mother nature and i have to say no matter how well a guy dressed, smelt etc i could never look at a guy in his 60s, 70s and see an attraction and think they look good just because they are well dressed |
