What’s the one song that instantly makes you feel good?

I’m lying in bed after a rough few days listening to Pink Floyd - Wish you were here. It instantly transports me somewhere else for some reason.

What’s yours?

I also have one that makes me feel, hmmm, I wouldn't say good as such but fills me with emotion and love for my friends.

I have a group of friends who all live together, they helped me find me, believe in myself and accept myself. They showed me I had worth and not just as a fanny but as a human.

They also taught me so much about being true to yourself, embracing your weirdness and that beauty comes in many forms, but ultimately true beauty comes from the soul. This was at a time I felt quite lost as a person, when I knew there was more to me but didn't know what.

The characters in the song fit them all so well too, like, there absolutely couldn't be a more perfect song for them and how I feel about them.

Anywhoooo, enough of the back story.

Riverboat song ocean colour scene is one that I always crank up.

The other one is don't stop me now - queen. It was the first song I heard when I found out inwas going to be a dad. After several miscarriages etc this one survived to be my pride and joy. Everytime it comes on I get goosebumps and have a little smile.
