It's Tuesday.
I've now been working from home for 149 days.
At first it was fine, but now I'm over it.
I'm procrastinating and insanely bored.
I have no idea why I'm posting this. But hey, it's cured my boredom for 30secs.. |

In the beginning I was living the dream. Now I'd happily go back into the office just to see work colleagues!! Not gonna happen until next year now though |

I’ve not worked since March, furloughed and now end of this week unemployed....
I’ve done the garden, decorated the bathroom, made a pile to take to charity shops of stuff I do not want anymore... need a new distraction and I loathe job hunting... this is going to be fun |

Some of my colleagues are hopeful we'll be back in the office in the next month or so.
I think they're delusional. |

Do you want to come do all of that at my house??
At first I was too busy with work, and now I just have zero motivation to bother. |

We were told it was next year last week, about half an hour before the Daily Mail ran a story on it.
I don't think 100% office based will ever go back to what it was. |

My work will definitely go back to 100% office based. My line of work relies a lot on collaboration and person to person interaction. Plus we generally all travel fairly heavily for work, so being in the office is quite important for us as a company.
But as for when we go back... |

Sure, but I demand a mitre saw power tool for the skirting board. Hand sawing that was a bitch! |

A friend in Switzerland has gone into the office today for the first time, I think it’s only part time.... she was moaning about having to wear a bra and normal clothes!
How far ahead in this virus is Switzerland? |

Haha! Well I can see why she'd be complaining at least! I'd probably complain she was wearing a bra too
Not sure about Switzerland, but I heard Spain was kicking off again and anyone that's been on holiday there has to self-isolate for 2 weeks when they return.. So time will tell if it spikes here again too! |

I feel terribly isolated, working at home. I agree that at first it was fun not to travel and extra time in bed, but although I didn't travel everyday, I still miss people. I'm so tired of this way of life, I still can't get my head around the restrictions |

A box at end of your bed |
I am in a way one of the lucky one's. I have worked through out all this although it has been very quiet at work but still working and happy to be, so many others lost or loosing jobs a very worrying times for them.
I have to say tho things are really boring something day after day work home work home, nowhere open to go all shops, pubs, cinema's and restaurants closed. Queuing for shops unable to really do anything else but sit at home or in your garden makes it very boring and repetitive indeed with nothing to look forward to but the same thing tomorrow.
I know that things are getting better but to me things just don't feel as relaxed or as good as they where and I don't know if it ever will for sometime to come.
Try and stay strong everyone and good luck to anyone looking for a new job in these times. |

Yeah I absolutely get that!
It was nice not being in an airport every other week, and sleeping in my own bed more than one week a month was quite nice!
But now I'm over it and ready to go back.
Even to some of the horrible shitholes I have to travel to, I'll even go there!! |
