I’m a reasonably tall guy, about 6’2
Over the last few years I’ve been in different dating apps and done reasonably well .. met lots of really beautiful ladies and some have become great friends.
My colleague and I were talking not long ago and he said it’s because I’m tall and that he finds it difficult as he’s only 5’8...
I honestly never knew it was a factor for ladies..
Is this true ?
He says most profiles state taller men only ..
Which since it’s been pointed out I’ve noticed .. |

personally I prefer men to be taller than me.. maybe because all the smaller guys I dated when I was younger were absolute idiots! (I now not all smaller men are as my fella is a couple of inches smaller than me)
I like a tall strong man to help me carry out my fantasies!

It makes a difference to me. I wouldn’t throw a guy out of bed for being short, but i would be less likely to invite him to my bed in the first place.
But it’s not a hard no by any means. I just like to look up into a guys eyes. X |

I think its an evolutionary thing, taller, stronger, more dominant so able to look after the female.
I do like tall men, I can wear heels & still feel petite. Being pretty short though that can work with shorter men too |

I'm 6ft 3, and can confirm that being tall has not helped me in the slightest. It doesn't matter how tall you are when you have a face like a slapped arse  |

Her manager looked all confused, I sat there thinking Jesus I’ve not heard that word in years did she just really use that word

We are a short couple, both at 5'4". I have noticed loads of profiles stating they like taller men though.
There are some advantages though.. Far fewer bumped heads, air travel and more room to spread out in bed to mention a few. X |

I’m 5ft 11 in my bare feet and for me found that girls taller than 5ft 9 can be a problem where neither of us like a girl to be taller with heels on. My personal preference is petite anyhow so it’s always worked ok for me. But equally ive chatted to girls 5ft 10 who said they need a taller guy and I can respect that |

So the findings are generally that height matters.
Just been PM’d by a lady who says she thinks she’d look odd walking arm in arm with a smaller guy ..
I’m feeling sore for short guys now ... perhaps I should adopt one or something |

It's a factor for us tall ladies, I suppose it's because it makes us feel more feminine to be with a tall guy. Not saying that this applies to all tall women though... |

I’m 6ft 4 and have always been subject to most of the hen party dares in clubs / random blokes asking how tall I am etc... I don’t think it makes that much of a difference, however seats in theatres/planes/trains are a pain when you can’t fit your knees in! |

At 4ft 11 in, it's not difficult for fellas to be taller than me. I prefer fellas around 6ft +/- a cpl inches as that's what Im used to. I had a 6 yr romance with a fella who isn't normally my "type" at 5 ft 6 in. It took me a while to realise he had "short man syndrome"  boy was I relieved when that ended. And I know not all fellas not as well blessed in height are like that. Besides, a taller man has longer arms to reach and grab my bum cheeks when I'm on top - a shorter man has struggled!  |
