I love cycling and I'm always out on my bike whatever the weather. If Boris wants to get the nation fitter by encouraging people to cycle, he should sort out the roads first and put in a decent cycle network not just divide pavements in half with white line.

Leisure pools are open now but swimming in the sea is fine when it's sunny

I do love to cycle, but if our wibbly wobbly leader wants us to exercise more he should sort the covid guidelines out first get things to a point where it’s safe to meet again! Then we could get together safely and the good people of fab could exercise to their hearts content

Without a doubt! Even though the roads are so dangerous, I'll only ride on the them as the cycle/foot paths are far worse.

I've got 2 bikes and sign up for endless bike rides then never train for them

I ride to work sometimes but it takes a lot of planning plus I've usually got somewhere to be after work which makes cycling unworkable.

I think any form of excise will do; as I understand it, (in theory) fitter people cope with COVID 19 better, so the government, as part of their C19 strategy, want the nation to get fit.

Totally agree. Love the potential for a huge ironic twist to this strategy; the government, in order to keep folk out of hospital due to COVID 19, ends up putting them there due to road accidents.

As a driver of motorbikes and cars, I won’t ride a bike on the road in London. Drivers just don’t look out for them. I’m probably just as guilty, the number of times I’ve nearly hit a cyclist... not my fault, I swear... honest truth!

Crap weather would not bother me I used to cycle 22 miles a day to and from work in the days I could not afford a car what I would like to see is vast improvements on cycling infrastructure in this country
