I have snapped my banjo cord and really hurt! I was out of action for a few weeks! I have also split my foreskin which only hurt when erect!! Didn't stop me from having sex the day after it happened but it was painful!

You can't break it - but you can tear the tissues (which show as bruising) - and if it's at all swollen (and not in a good way) that's oedema (tissue fluid) and the best treatment is a bag of frozen peas - and avoiding porn/getting excited!

Painful - but unlikely to be life threatening!

+1 - you don't 'break' a penis as such - you cause a rupture of the blood vessels running the length of it whilst they are infused with blood and the nerves are at their most heightened state. It can be excrutiatingly painful and - if not treated quickly - can cause IRREPRABLE damage to the tissue. GET TO THE DOCS OR A+E NOW!!!! And don't bashful telling them how it happened - they're nurses and have seen (and done) practically everything!!!!

good advice, can i also add that if said penis doesnt get seen by a urologist any damage that has been done inside it could heal and because of scar tissue cause a significant bend in the penis after its healed...get it checked, all sounds dramatic, but you would be surprised how delicate they are.

if its broken it could be badly damaged and needs to have it checked out and have the necasary treatment if its a case of being embaresed these Dr's and nurses are used to seeing a lot worse . its a male pride thing lol

good advice, can i also add that if said penis doesnt get seen by a urologist any damage that has been done inside it could heal and because of scar tissue cause a significant bend in the penis after its healed...get it checked, all sounds dramatic, but you would be surprised how delicate they are.

maybe it will bend in a good direction tho
