Anyone else suffer from acid reflux ?What has been suggested to you as an alternative to ranitidine??finding it difficult without this tablet and have not been provided with a suggestion for an alternative drug :/ |

"Ask for Esomeprazole which is a proton pump inhibitor that decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach. "
Will look into this thanks ,I think the dosage is double so it’s an idea.currently on omeprozole but not enough alone! |

Currently still take this but doesn’t seem to be enough now without the ranitidine and haven’t been offered much alternative so far! |

I don't have any suggestions I'm afraid OP but this is scary to read. My son relied on this through the first year of his life and it worked wonders. I hope you do find something that works as well. Good luck x |

What causes this? - im fine for days then it hits me, usually on a weekend of debauchery ! whisky, brandy, rum, , coffee, spices, olive oil, wine, cigarettes - something in this list is doing it I reckon just not sure which or if it’s a combination |
