The mother of a fellow I was doing a project with. She was a good 40 years older than him, so an older mum. It was actually a stand up bonk during a party.
He called me the next day, and questioned me if I had upset her somehow. Obviously she hadn't told him everything. Well I made up a convenient lie and he seemed to be ok about it. Although we never met again.
But it was that sinking moment, when you know that you could put your foot right in it, and hope to heaven the lady doesn't tell. Luckily she stayed schtum, and it passed okay. |
