"11 years ago to my first club visit was town house. Had a brilliant time.x"
What was it like? What did you get up to? Very intrigued by other people’s first experiences, as someone who’s never been! |

HU9, I went on a quiet night, people were friendly (bar the stinky couple we met when being shown around!) Wish I went on a busy night, I was the only female there that night.
First and only time I’ve been to a club, would like the guts to try others |

My first and forever favourite was SX (now Play) last year, been so many times cos I love the atmosphere so much, I felt so free, can't wait to get back!
Those who've not been to Townhouse since the new owners should give it a try, Vicky and Jim have done a great job, it's our other fave! xx |

I can't remember the name of it, it was in Manchester somewhere, but not cupids (it's probably shut down, it was about 17 years ago)...it was a right dump, and the clientele were, errmm, interesting It's a wonder I ever went to a club again after that |

That doesn't ring any bells...but I am getting old and generally can't remember what I had for dinner yesterday, never mind something from nearly 20 years ago When I say Manchester, I mean the general north west area...as in the other side of the Pennines somewhere, I can remember going on the M62 to get there |

"When Quest was called ISIS in different premises to where it is now.
I have a fondness for old Quest. "
I'm not so keen on ISIS. Or Al-Queda. My first club was The Lodge in Gloucester. Very sadly, it closed a few years ago and there are no local clubs now. I enjoyed Club Sx last year, so look forward to visiting it as Club Play and to trying the Townhouse when they reopen. |

T took me to Xtasia - it was a Christmas foam party & I was terrified!!! It looked like great fun but I spent the night watching others having fun & in awe of their confidence
Not been for some time but it is my favourite club

No.3 in Chorley was the first club I visited. I was so nervous going in, didn’t know what to expect, had read so many feel-good stories about the club scene! Anyway, it was a quiet night, and driving home afterwards I wondered what all the fuss was about? It’s just a pub, where people wear less clothes...... |

The Gatehouse, absolutely awesome and it was that good, I went twice a week until the lock down.. Met some fantastic people there. Not all are brilliant but I'd definitely say 99% are. Everyone is welcome and reasonably priced and no membership fee. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. |

I live near Heathrow but always found myself travelling to Birmingham for clubs. Chams and Xtasia as I didn't fancy the prospect of bumping into someone I know.
I have tried Hellfire a couple of times too |

A club called Utopia on the A5 between Telford and Cannock.
Sadly no longer a club, and the building is run down.
It was beautiful country mansiOn with extensive grounds, huge swimming pool, jacuzzis, saunas, lots of playrooms, some with open fires.
A cave system in the basement area, with each cave kitted out for various styles of play, club area and a bar.
Really miss that place, and every time we drive past we daydream that we’d have the money to buy, renovate the building and reopen it as a club. |

It would take a lottery win! The poor old building is in a very sorry state now
We loved it there, and it had so so much potential to easily be one of the best in the uk given location and building size and facilities, just needed good business management. |

JDs for a BBW night. I was terrified while driving there, nervous when I arrived at the car park but once I went in it was great.
The staff were really friendly, showed me around and didn’t laugh when I asked what the St Andrew’s Cross was for and the guests were great too |

Yep - love JayDees. No reason to ever feel strange or nervous there - everyone puts you at ease straight away, and it is so friendly. Missing it during lockdown, to be honest.... |

My first club was Adam and Eves in Eccles. Great experience especially back in the 80's.
Then moved on to Xanadu in Manchester, then Club Manchester when Xanadu closed then onto the Gatehouse. Also been to Partners and Cupids. Tbf, all are different in their approach and atmosphere. Some are very cliquey whereas some are friendly. Some have membership for single guys which can make it an expensive first night. |

Our first time at Chams we didn't like it. It was a BBW party night. We didn't like the atmosphere at all. Said the club was not for us, never to return. Luckily we were tempted back because its open in the day time and the sun was out for the sun deck. Had a great time, met some great people and ended up staying over. Its now our favourite club and go when we can. |

Last Halloween I went to silks at Croydon hall in minehead, absolutely buzzing night but it closed at new year. Went to another after that and it was awful! So dirty we made our excuse and left pretty quickly! Silks has made an impression I’m not sure another place would be the same |

The Boardroom. Now that brings back memories. It was actually my 2nd club but used to go quite a lot in the early 90's.
Rough and ready but I had some good fun in there. |

I'm not sure what it was called, it was in a church. I think it was called The Cool Kids club. I remember there was a little disco and I was drinking some blue raspberry juice and eating strawberry strings and I felt like a badass.
I'd rate it 10/10 good memories. |
