This may be controversial but what about a Non Fab option
Some of the pics on here how they get approved makes me wonder
Maybe a prude but sometimes less is more. |

I'd far rather a slap emoji button, to send a virtual slap surrounding certain comments or an audio applause for words of worthiness?  |

Be kind has obviously been forgotten...
what do you think it will do for someone’s self esteem if they have uploaded a pic they are proud of and they get hundreds of not fabs? It’s bad enough when someone out the blue messages to tell you that they think your gross- believe me it happens

I’m not being unkind.
I’m not trying to police the pics either
I get where you are coming from but sometimes they just appear in a set of “arty,sexy,nice” pics. And you just go whoa!

We were on a site where it was possible to comment on photos and put a thumbs up or thumbs down. We were lucky and got very few thumbs down or nasty comments but people were very unkind to some of the posters. The mods were quick to pick up on it but some men and women were very upset |

Why would you want to make someone feel bad about their photos? You might not like it but they may have been really happy and feeling great about it then someone slaps a ‘non fab’ emoji on it? I know it would make me feel like shit ! |

Wrong, as it would be open to abuse, I don’t like you so I’ll unfab your photo and get my friends to do the same.
If you’re even slightly homophobic or transphobic those pictures would be inundated with negativity.
There’s a massive difference to critique and abuse. |

It's bad enough that you get the message "fabbed all your photos!" followed by "you stuck up bitch! Unfabbed all your photos!" (I mean, I laugh, it's so fucking petty, but at least it's withdrawing approval rather than actively saying you don't like something)

Exactly the fabbing of a picture can be an attempt to get attention from the person who posted. By removing the fab, it’s effectively saying that I only did it to try and meet not that I like the actual image.
Some women fab my pictures, I always take it that image is seen as attractive so I learn from that fab. Same with couples and Men it tells me what I should be concentrating on, to do it negatively doesn’t help the poster.

There is 0 need for negativity so a non-fab button is just uncalled for on many levels.

I think the whole fab it is a bit daft really I’ve seen brilliant pictures and they never get on hot pics or are highly gabbed so I take no notice of all that bollocks! |

That's a bit crap...where do you draw the line? I see plenty of pics of people who I find unattractive but why intentionally cause offence by clicking a button to make them aware of that ?
