Last time you did a healthy check

I was ill for large parts of last year and was in and out of doctors and hospitals for months .
Eventually it was just drastic Vit D deficiency and low blood pressure .
But according to Google I was 7 minutes from all my bodily organs shutting down and my cock was falling off .
All good now.
Never Google ailments |

sti clinics being closed, I haven't one in the last 4 months. Had one before lockdown and was all clear. Tried to get free one delivered, impossible but don't need it really but its good to have an updated health check |

Try online, I’ve got a friend who is a doctor and gay so I thought he might know how those things work, well he send me the link of sexual health and he give me this advice:
They open at 8:00 and only deliver certain amount of them so very to ask for it at that time.
Did it and after 2 weeks I had the results by text message. |

Blood pressure checked every day, cholesterol every 4 weeks, full blood test including hormones, liver function, kidney function, the works etc. Every 8-12 weeks.
All tip top here |

Is that for a specific reason or just choice ? We both want this plus various others.
We pay over £3K a year in tax towards bupa , company pay another £5k and they won’t do monthly hormone or liver function tests without a very good reason. Each month we get into a fight with them them and eventually they give in
When they do it’s great, you walk in , no waiting , someone takes a bit of blood and 2 hours later you get a full report by email
Yet its so easy to get on NHS just tell them your feeling down, remind them your over 40 and demand the tests, it just takes months and they don’t understand the results so you need to then print it off and take to a private GP who knows what they are looking at.
Why is healthcare such a mess in the uk |

Choice, mainly for sporting performance, cortisol and oestrogen levels are biggest concern for performance but have the lot done for piece of mind.
I've had private health care before and they were the same. Just pay now when I want it done.

You mean start meeting again? No, I only meet at a specific club so it'll be no meets until they reopen fully and I'm happy that any risk is very low. Probably next year I imagine. |

Did a home kit just before lockdown, didn't get back results, so did another home kit last week. Managed to finally get hold of my local clinic, who had my results on the system from the earlier check up, all clear.
Will have my regular check ups when services get back to normal. |
