As the gyms are opening on the 25th July. What do you guys think this artificial lack of stock of free weights in the market and ridiculously high prices for a pair of dumbbells would come down ? |

Hard to say. Supply chains are obviously disrupted for all sorts of reasons, high demand was unexpected on that sort of timescale, and not everyone who was a member of the gym will be returning (I've paused my membership for the moment).
All of these things will drive prices up regardless... |

The mamufacturer of the kit are not able to get the materials. China is the biggest steel exporter globally, and their steelworks have all closed during covid.
Not sure on the China situation at the moment, but if there's a shortage of steel, then other exporters will be in a similar position, driv8ng raw mat prices up ... for now |
