I'm in wolves the city on the edge, there is a variety of black country accents from really mild like to really strong like those around dulsy Sandwell, most the other side of the m6 is more off a brummy accent which is never to be confused with us black country folk |

My bestie had a really strong accent, he was from Oldbury. Used to love how he’d say “how am ya?”. Noticed that with certain phrases and words our female friends definitely have more pronounced accents though xx |

A great friend of mine is born and raised in the Black country. She's a really civilised accent but just occasionally slips into her natural born, charming accent. Very sexy girls from around there! |

I shall translate after my years in dudley:
I am off for a walk down the canal
Are you taking the dog?
No, but I would like to take you to play with my mrs
You can't have her indoors all to yourself, that is just greedy, you have to share, it isn't fair
Old my old mucker (term of endearment)

Having worked in that neck of the woods for a while, I have my doubts they even speak English

"If a Woman offers to get her Puss out, you’ve not got lucky, she’s only paying for the teas "
Likewise, if someone asks if you're on the buzz, they're not inquiring about your drug of choice but your preferred mode of transport. |
