I’ve been trying to think what our local greeting is but beyond “hiya” I’m struggling therefore I’ve come to the conclusion that I live in a very boring area linguistically.
Anyone else want to improve on my boring Dorset greeting? |

My gran told me the story about her aunt who was English. She didn't realise 'hen' was really just for women. One day her aunt was visiting and approached my grans big brother and his friends with 'hello hen' he never lived it down. |
