my immediate predecessor at my last job was like this. everything ran smoothly, and then one day he decides to show me how to monitor the call centre (he was training me up)
Next thing we know, whole system's reset, 400+ phones go down and we have to make a LOT of frantic calls back to the office, people bringing in the backup system, reprogramming the extensions...That was an interesting day's work! |
