The majority seem to be poor drivers not all though, only today I almost got sideswipe by 1 as he was cutting in and out of traffic, but then again most young lads driving cars more powerful than their experience is not just audi owners |

"I think it's a bit stereotypical, good cars not sure anyone who drives one is any worse than anyone else.
Indeed, a shit driver is a shit driver in any car "
Agreed, we are only all as good as our last journey. I was excellent going to the supermarket |

"??? Your thoughts and opinions .
And im one. But not a loonatic when driving it..
I switched to BMW "
I should have had Audi but the salesman was a dick and couldn’t be bothered so I went next next door and bought a BMW. I drive in Eco mode so it accelerated slowly, and I actually know where the indicators are |

"Don’t Audi, BMW & Mercedes drivers own the road and therefore are allowed to drive like loons and none of the rules apply?! "
Don't own the road or drive like a loon but definitely ignore some of the rules, like turning left on red when it’s safe, or ignoring temp traffic lights , doesn’t everyone ? |

Tts driver here! Reliable and surprisingly practical, I can get my triathlon bike in the back with the rear seats down. Not a comfortable dogging car though

"??? Your thoughts and opinions .

Just like every other driver? It’s not the car that makes someone drive like a dick. " Cars don't make people drive in a certain way but certain drivers will gravitate towards a certain brand of car. Personally I have only known BMW drivers to be aggressive twat drivers. |

I’ve missed monkey’s lessons. I don’t know how I’ve made it through the past 5 months without them. |

"If someone pisses me off on the road. There's a high percentage they're in an Audi.
If you're constantly being pissed off by other drivers ... what is the common factor? "
No where did I say I was constantly pissed off. |

There was a skoda estella in the road that I grew up in, it was definitely a wolf in sheeps clothing. The thing ate most cars it went up against. |

I've had a few as company cars, but on the whole they've been boring as fuck - like a slightly more solid and grippy version of a VW, which are boring and predictable too. Nice for six months and then you're just counting down the days until the lease is up.... |

Having to drive a lot for my work I use to think it was the young school boy yuppie racers in their series 3 BMW’s that were the prats of the road, but for some reason they have now gravitated to Audi’s. Especially the A4 and A5s!
I sometimes look at some of the twats driving these cars and wonder how they can afford them? |

I rolled back into an Audi once at traffic lights as I diddnt like the vibes , using my audio sensors I stopped right at the point of touching bumpers as touching is not classed a collision. He was so pissed off with me I thought he was going to spontaneously combust |

I found the same when I had an A4 as a courtesy car. For a petrol it was really sluggish as well. Definitely find them the most dull a round of the main 3 German manufacturers. |

"driving an audi or bmw just shows a lack of imagination, follow the herd
What would you recommend instead that's not following the herd? Alfa / volvo /jaguar "
Only Alfa produce anything remotely interesting out of those 3, RS6 & M5 beat all of the offerings comfortably, quadrofoglio is a nice car but I'll stick with my Audi and BMW |

Love blasting my tt around the country lanes. You can tell the creators didn't lack imagination, so much fun and it's rapidly quick, a great buzz. |

The Alfa Giulia is a nice looking motor. Volvo and Jag are *fairly* mainstream though - nice to see Volvo's reputation seemingly improved. |

Dunno, the F-Type is a looker. Also I'm not *that* fussed about performance, so I'd take the M2 over the M5 quote happily.
I've not long since swapped from the AMG A45 to the A35. Honestly I think I'm getting ready to settle down into a sensible car now I've got a dog |

I remember growing up, if your parents had a BMW/Audi you were considered rich! Only going back 20 years ago, but nobody seemed to have a decent car back then.
Now everyone’s driving around in one, a new 69 or 20 plate and financed up to the bollocks for the privilege I wonder if the steering wheel shots on insta are worth the monthly payments |

Do they know what the funny little stick on the left of the steering wheel does? |

Not driven the f type but been in one, quite nippy for a big car. Evoque has more room if you decide to go for a bit of "apres ski" apparently |

Not an Audi fan, worked on them for 12 years, since deiselgate extreme cost cutting measures are obvious throughout the range and dealerships. Prefer BMWs.
I’d rather drive cheap bangers, with a strong preference for hairdresser cars. |

"Audi, BMW and Mercedes drivers can be divided in two categories, women and men. Women have no perception of how big the car is and men are just major that road rage tools. That's it. "
I love a good Fab generalisation. A thread wouldn’t be complete without one. |

You’re so right , it’s culture but also progress, no need for old unreliable cars. When my daughter passed at 17 I dale she could have my 6 year old BM, she said no thanks for £299 a month she can get a brand new one..... |

Just talking by experience, the whole point of the topic was to give an opinion and I gave mine
Prove me wrong and I'll shut up forever. |
