Do you ever completely forget the most inane words mid sentence during a conversation, and then have to act the word out , you know , like doing the hand movements to describe a Tea Towel or some shit .
I find myself doing this a lot recently and have deduced that my brain is slowly turning into a mushy ball of uselessness and I will soon be a drooling old fart who tries to eat soup with a fork .
Surely I'm not alone .... Am I?? |

No, you are not alone. I forget what I'm saying mid sentence, forgot why I walked in to a room, what I'm doing while I'm doing it. So if your old, I must be ancient. |

Yeah forget words end up saying something like - 'the thing you put bread in to make it brown'.
And walking into a room or opening a cupboard and wondering why I'm doing it. If I stand there for. a. bit it will come back. Sometimes.  |

Forgetting where I put my car keys/phone/wallet
Thinking of something I need to do or get done at work, getting up to discuss with others about 5 meters away and then completely forgetting what it is when I get there |

I'm the same, think it's just stupidity with me. I'm only 40, when I get brain freeze I look at my 55 year old husband for help he then finishes my sentences or finds what I lost  |

I read an article that suggested that the short term memory loss "tip of the tongue" issue that people can be an indication of too much caffeine intake particularly coffee over a prolonged period of time. The longer you continue to drink coffee etc the worse the problem gets, albeit not a sudden change.
Studies showed that eliminating caffeine sees a gradual improvement again.

I thought that a few times. I just realised I was bored with the rut and routine I was in. I hardly cared what I thought or said. Got lost mid sentence and such.
But I changed my lifestyle and got reborn all new and lively. Some vim and vigour does the job. |
