Fairly low ... but not right on the horizon ... about 15 degrees above the horizon

Sadly there's a bloody great cliff in that direction, guess I'll miss out this one, never mind seen others.

I used to have a Tasco 6" reflector when I lived out in the sticks and have seen the rings of Saturn and many other wonderful moons and celestial objects, but I sold it when I moved into the City Centre as there was too much light pollution

Nope. Venus is still well below the horizon at the moment and won’t be visible until the early hours of the morning.

Just been out the back. Jupiter and it's moons visible, with Saturn to the right of Jupiter. Can just make out the rings of Saturn with a telescope.

Correct, I often see it early morning when I chuck some bits and bobs out for the birds to snack on, it's in the Easterly sky at the moment

Try before sunrise, when the brighter light will obliterate it from view. Good when the moon isn't too bright too. Potentially the early hours of the morning are good, with reduced lights from other sources, such as vehicles and buildings.

The rest of the month will still provide opportunity, as it's fairly close
