Bloody Magpies really don't like them
Jump to: Newest in thread
First I see one then I say that thing that avoids bad luck even though I try to tell myself I'm not superstitious, then another one turns up and I think ok good luck coming, then a third turns up and I think even better I'm going to meet a girl.
Then the fourth one arrives and I think ok a gay or bi guy will be messaging me again.
That gets me thinking about my polite stock replies I always give, that in turn reminds me of a couple of songs I like do I'm on YouTube for a listen.
That enevitably leads me to watching those "reacts to" vids which really are rubbish by then it's getting on and I've had too much wine and I'm going to regret it the next day.
And then it all happens again, that's why I don't like magpies. |

Ever since a kid under my mother's influence, I have to salute a single magpie. I make it slick too...or if in public a sly little raise of the hand pretending im wiping my forehead |

"They are very noisy birds, got a nest of them in a near by tree"
Or when one starts giving it large at fuck off o'clock in the morning when it's perched on the communal aerial which is directly above my bedroom window |

They don’t kill squirrels do they?
We’ve had a few magpies appear regularly since lockdown (as well at lots of other birds) but we have always had a squirrel who runs along our fence twice a day and I’ve not seen him for a bit.
Could he be intimidated? Or dead? Or just having a breather from our fence? |

Don't think so, there's a family of four magpies near me and squirrels are still running around the car park, shame it's grey squirrels but that's not their fault |

Were you expecting to see, Sydney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain.... |

Magpies? Horrible little bastards... raiding the blackbirds nests, killing their young.... cackling away, strutting around as if they own the place!!
Severely tempted to get an air rifle and pick the buggers off....more likely a Larsen trap though |
