"lancs listen together xxx"
Paul, its a pleasure to meet a fellow RUSH fan.
I already have my tickets for Germany and a couple of UK gigs. The time machine tour last year was brilliant too as was the previous snakes and arrows tour. I've seen RUSH many times since the 80's. Brilliant trio! Wyrdwoman is also a fan on here.
Anyway, back to your post....yes the album is brilliant. |

is that the classic rock magazine fan pack?
if so i will get one from work
there is a problem with this kind of promotion in that customers to the supermarkets where they are sold do no realise what they are, as in the CD with some extras for £15 so tend not to buy them.
i currently have about 500 copies of the Slash latest albumn one in the back of my van, all removed from shops as they not sold, going back to the wholesaler in the next hour
as a marketing tool its a great idea, but not if its not promoted which they aint, just looks like another magazine with a free CD on the shelf
(i am a merchandiser for a major magazine and media company) |

Saw Rush several times during the 70s. Xanadu-what a superb song!"
Aaah yes....to seek the sacred river Alph, and walk the caves of ice, break my fast on honeydew and drink the milk of paradise.
Immortality sounds a wonderful notion till you realise your subjected to an eternity of old age.
Dig out 'La Villa Strangiato' and listen....lest ye forget the musical genius/ability of these guys |

HUGE Rush fan! I just managed to get a decent ticket for Sheffield Arena next year, although I'm miffed the Facebook page didn't advertise they were touring again.
Funny story about Rush on the 'Beyond the Lighted Stage' DVD. After a concert, Alex Lifeson goes backstage and says 'Three! I saw three!'. Geddy Lee goes backstage and yells 'I saw four! Four women at a Rush concert. It's a record!' |

Must say, the Time machine Tour last year was exceptional in the fact they played the whole of Moving Pictures in its entirety!!....I have ticket for Berlin already. We are the 'Toronto 6' as we are affectionately known by RUSH after many years following them on tours worldwide. Greatest ever moment has to be seeing them in canada, which co-incidentally coincided with a Foo-Fighters tour which we managed to inadvertantly gatecrash and ended up eating Dave Grohls chinese with the foo-fighters and RUSH!!...Molsen Ampitheatre...superb!! |

Superb band. I saw them about 4-5 years ago at Wembley arena. Such an awesome sound for a 3 piece. A Farewell to Kings and Moving Pictures are my fav albums by them. When reminiscing about bands from that era I always seem to overlook them and don't know why. They are up there with the likes of Genesis, Pink Floyd, Yes et all |

"Werent they a 70s band? have they got back together?"
They had a break in the 90s when the drummer/lyricists wife and daughter died, but they've been playing constantly since they started in the late 60s. |

"What's every ones favorite. Track "
Tough call, but I'd have to say I have two favourites; Camera Eye and La Villa Strangiato. In my opinion Moving Pictures was one of their greatest albums, but again, a tough call as they are all excellent concepts in their own right. |

First saw Rush in 1981 at Wembley Arena
and looking forward to their return to the UK next year and they will have to increase the length of their concerts now the Boss last night at Real Madrid's stadium did a 3hr 48min non-stop show.....at 62 yrs old!!!! |
