I know it wasn't all rosey but the summers seemed to last for ever and we had very little cares in the world.

To be honest given the rubbish air heating we had not waking up with ice on the inside of the windows was a blessing, but there was a big field at the back so loads of room to kick a ball around and even hit a seven iron, being light till gone 9 was great for that |
