I'm more of an Apple fan these days, but in April last year, Samsung released a tablet called the s5e Galaxy Tab, and I bought one at a discount before the release date because it looked good, and I have been happy with my purchase ever since. It's the lightest and thinnest 10 inch tablet you can get currently and it has some of the best speakers I've heard on this sort of device too. Battery life is pretty good too. The only downside is the slight jelly effect in portrait mode, because it's an AMOLED display, the way it refreshes leads to a slight jelly effect when scrolling in portrait position, but it's fine in landscape mode. That's the worst thing about it for me, but it's not a deal breaker for most people. Oh and with it being so thin, you probably wouldn't want to sit on it by accident as it would probably bend, but it feels sturdy enough in every day usage. |
