This from the front of the ibky Russian novel I've ever finished:
A militia major sees a militiaman standing with a penguin.
"take him to the zoo" he orders
Later the major sees him again, still with the penguin.
"What are you doing? I ordered you to take him to the zoo"
"We've been to the zoo comrade major, and the circus, now we're going to the pictures" |
