After my eye test on Wednesday it is official .
Later this afternoon I have to go and choose my specs .
Pray I dont choose a pair that make me look a complete twat .
You never know, I may even look intelligent

Been wearing glasses since I was 11. In the last year I've needed two pairs - one for reading and one for everything else. Next time I go to opticians I'll probably get bi-focals. You can get some very 'trendy' frames now.
If I take my glasses off everyone looks sexy - all it goes soft focus.  |

I love peeps in spex! A few tailor their photos to me accordingly
A woman at work will put them on and do a hot secretary look at me just to fire me up on purpose lol.

I got my eye test free at Vision Express and the specs will be around 80 I think so I'll be choosing carefully |

Worth considering contacts too
I'm short sighted so need vision correction for distance and found that contacts gave me very decent vision when cycling, generally being out and about, and driving during the day. Certainly better when it's raining or very sunny (can wear any sunnies then)
I've always preferred glasses for driving at night though

I’ve worn glasses since I was 12. I need varifocals but can’t get used to them do have 2 different pairs of glasses. Can be interesting when I wear the wrong pair Rarely go without them now.
Try on lots of pairs until you find some you are really happy with - some can make us look like tw@ts

It is with much regret I have to inform you ladies that due to current rona procedures my specs have to be delivered to my home address in 10-14 days .

I like a guy in glasses. I have a love/hate relationship with mine. I prefer them for day to day wear but when I get dressed up for a night out I don't like wearing them x |

5 years ago I was told I need reading glasses. I felt like someone hit me with a bag of wet sand. But now I'm used to them they're ok. I feel a bit like naughty secretary looking over the top of them at work colleagues

Check out selectspecs or firmoo once you have your prescription. Funky glasses at affordable prices. I've had 3 pairs of glasses and one pair of sunglasses off them this year(all still wearable, not because they broke lol just like choice in my eye wear) |
