Well, today is the big day, I get the snip this afternoon. No more tadpoles for me, I'll be neutered like a cat lol.
The surgeon said refrain form ejaculating for 2 weeks, it's going to be a long fortnight. |

I'm sure I'll be okay. They let you drive straight afterwards so must be pretty painless, just a little discomfort.
I decided to go privately as some people around my area are waiting over a year and have to go to counselling sessions if you have no children or no partner. This seems a little silly for a bloke 48 years old. Far easier to pay and have it done on a day that's convenient to me. Only been 2 weeks since I 1st enquired at this surgery so I'm more than happy with their lead time. |

Update
A little bit of lower abdominal discomfort for 10 minutes while he did the snip but that subsided over a couple of hours.
This morning I can't feel a thing, just another day as if nothing has happened. I should have done this years ago, saved myself a fortune.
Guys, if you don't want children, just go for it. |

This morning I can't feel a thing, just another day as if nothing has happened. I should have done this years ago, saved myself a fortune.

£400 and 2 weeks turnaround is a lot better than the ridiculous counselling sessions and 14 month wait due to the NHS current load and prioritising structure. |
