Been a bit of a shit day today. I made the mistake of telling a friend's ex that I like her and I got the whole I just see as mates spiel. They've been broken up a couple of months now and I just didn't want to spend the rest of my life in regret, wondering what might have been.
And I say friend, but he was always a bit of a dick to me, made me feel like shit sometimes and I haven't even spoken to him for over a month now. I still feel guilty though.
I don't know what I was expecting to happen really. I hoped she felt the same way, but fully expected this outcome instead. It doesn't feel awkward between us, but I feel a bit silly, bit upset with myself. I've always liked her, always had a soft spot for her and I just feel a bit shit.
Probably for the best though. |

Thanks. I kind of feel like I want to cry, but I know if I do that I'll be letting it bother me and I'll end up getting more and more upset over it. Last thing I want is for that to happen because then I think it will be awkward for me. I don't want to stop talking to her, but it feels hard knowing she doesn't feel the same way. |
