At 34 I really want to learn to rollerblade

As a kid I had some issues which prevented me from doing it. Then as I got older I sort of forgot about it. Now I'm just worried I'll break a hip!

Anthing you want to learn to do?

Never too old to try something new .... whether you "learn" let alone master it is a different matter entirely.

I never said it was old, is it too old to learn a particular activity. How many adults do you see rollerblading

There and to the left a bit

At 55 I'm still learning new things both in terms of activities (joined a gym for the first time ever last October) and myself personally...

...it's when you stop learning you have to worry

None where I live but don't see many kids doing it either.

Wouldn't think anything of it really if I did no matter how old.

Never too old if its something you really want to do.

I'm in IT and constantly keep up with new, and new versions of, OSs and devices

I've just started a new career at almost 60 and I consider that not old.

Loads along the seafront here.

At 93 my father is learning to paint, take up roller blading he's forgotten more than you already know.

Oh, at 55 I tried water skiing again after a break of 35 years.

Unless doing something incurrs risks you dont want to take, what's the issue?

There is no way you’re nearly 60 must be a typo?

Very good way of looking at it.

I need to buy a lot of padding first

Got me first motorcycle lesson in 8 days time, something I should have done years ago with the hubby being a biker and having 6 motorbikes and a mechanic for Kawasaki years ago.

No. I love learning and I hope to be doing it until I can't do it anymore. I took up the guitar last year. I'll always be learning something.

Never too old to learn as I have learnt recently. Always learning new things. Especially how to overcome bad/negative ploys/schemes. That has been a first for me as I have never experienced such manipulation of the truth like that.

Fake news, lies and vicious rumours will never stop me. Moving forward with a harsh lesson learnt. Thank you friends
