Alreay covered by law.
That would be the insanity defense where you are not responsible for your actions. If found guilty by reason of insanity you would go to a secure hospital like Broadmoor.
You wouldn't get away with it. |

And if that reason was treatable or temporary, you are moved to a none medical facility for the rest of your sentence.
You have more chance of staying in a forensic medical facility for the rest of your life than if you are sent to a prison. If you're seen to be unable to treat/rehabilitate etc... You're likely to never leave a medical facility. |
