Just been walking the dogs and passing a house that had an unruly hedge that was so overgrown that it forced you to almost walk on the road to get passed.

Keep those gardens and bushes tidy, people.

I think bushes can be lovely things as long as they're looked after

Indeed! It would have been a very attractive bush if it was not so wild that it was causing an obstruction.

My bush is always tidy i cut through the wire of my electric shears so now just have hand held ones. It is bloody hard work but my bush gets a tidy up every week.

Trimming bushes is restrictive at time owing to habitation.Often if you explore an overgrown bush you may find bird nestled there.

Couldn’t agree more, nothing worse than an overgrown bush prodding you in the face as you mind your own business

True but it could also be getting to the point that it is a health and safety issue when the bush is growing in to such a public place.

Glad to hear it, and that you are safe after the wire cutting. Often doing it manually and by hand allows for better trimming control.

I agree. Trimming a bush that restricts ease of movement in a pubic place is necessary, especially when walking becomes cumbersome.

The council can make them cut it back if its causing obstruction.
