To much bubble talk going on and it's depressing!
Let's lighten it a bit. What's your favourite Xmas Bauble?
Old school type with tinsel and snow hanging on those green wire hooks!
Or modern bows and flashing lights?
I like and old fashioned real tree with twinkling gentle lights. Nice smell from the tree and cozy when it's cold with the lights on.
Bit early for Xmas but who cares |

I like traditionalish, I normally get a new decoration every year from somewhere special and then I have lots of heirlooms from great grandparents etc. Mainly wooden, glass or red.

There are lots up in my kitchen right now!
I have an old clothes airer above the central island with an array of different sized baubles in teal/aqua/silver with silver beads, long glass icicles, aqua ribbon and masses of Chunky tinsel
Looks fantastic I have to say |

My mum had some incredibly tacky 1970s plastic ones meant to look like lanterns, gold with see through panels in different colours.
When I bought my first place she wanted to get me something as a housewarming gift and those hideous baubles were all that I wanted. I love them! |

I know the ones you mean. Covered in glue then dipped in glitter |

I go for basic, plain colour ones. I have red, silver and gold and change the colours between the three every year. I have a few handmade ones for special memories like the birth of my children and the death of my dad that hang amongst them.
I buy a new one for the children each year so when they leave home they will have their own collection of Christmas decorations. |
