I have been to hundreds of gigs, it's hard to say which was the very best, some bands I've seen lots of times.
At one point i would have said Kasabian at the KP stadium the year Leicester won the Prem, however that's tainted a bit now.
Stereophonics are fantastic, probably the best live band I've seen, i have seen them about 8 or 9 times. One gig really stands out in my mind, it was either 2018 or 2019, at Leeds, the drum bit during Mr. & Mrs. Smith was brilliant |

Een to many over the years but I found the smaller venues more enjoyable, better atmosphere and closer to the bands the grass market in Glasgow is a brilliant venue, saw the waterboys there, one of my favourite concerts was Fleetwood mac and pink Floyd fantastic events |

There and to the left a bit |
So many down the years I couldn't pick just one....
Madness - Madstock - Finsbury Park 1992 - the day the Madnificent 7 rode again and created an earthquake
Green Day - Hyde Park - 2018 - the roof got blown off the park that day
The Beat - Hammersmith Palais 1982 - simply brilliant and played a longer set as one of the support acts (Aztec Camera) had stormed off stage mid-set
Madness - The Light Bar - 2009 - album launch party that I was privileged to attend
Muse - Emirates/Etihad - 2014 - simply mind blowing
Biffy Clyro - Dublin/Belfast - 2017 - amazing gigs |

Also been to many great gigs and festivals but the hilight for me was seeing Alice In Chains in a fairly smallish venue a couple of years ago in London. Played a good mix of the old and new and took me back to being a teenager |

Three immediately come to mind:
Tom Waits - Glitter and Doom tour in Paris. Proper bucket list stuff
Suede - Suede tour at Brixton Academy. The whole place throbbed with sexual energy
Pulp - greatest hits set at a private party. Watching a band at their peak so close up was thrilling. |

Probably Jarvis Cocker at the Deaf Institute, tiny venue and awesome gig.
Pye Corner Audio at the Soup Kitchen
Wedding Present at anywhere they play.
I was lucky enough to see David Bowie at the MEN arena and Kate Bush in London a few years ago.

Too many to choose just one. Seen some amazing bands at festivals, especially Download- always an awesome experience, but for gigs focusing on a particular band, would be Nick Cave, NIN and Rammstein, but loved Mortiis for the intimacy of the event x Viv x |

I hate to say it but it has to be Robbie Williams @ Leeds Academy many years ago when he was promoting his Candy Album (least said about that the better). There was only a very limited audience so Scarlett could get right up to the stage while I stood at the bar and watched. He is one hell of a showman. I even caught myself tapping my foot to the music occasionally! |

While not a gig per say I once saw Simon Fowler play acoustically on his farm near Stratford upon Avon around a fire. That was pretty special.
The best gigs for me were two of my absolute favourite groups.
Stone Roses - Heaton Park July 2012
James - Alton Towers July 1992. |

Not all that North of North London |
Festival gig would be Bowie at Glastonbury with Pulp's secret set a close second
Big gig would be Soft Cell's farewell gig at the 02
Club gig would be The Wonder Stuff's comeback gig in 2000 at Dudley JBs
Pub gig would be Mick Jones playing Clash songs with a punk covers band at the Flowerpot in Kentish Town, or Billy Bragg at the Dublin Castle a few years back

"R.E.M at Milton Keynes Bowl 1995"
Was that the monster tour with Blur supporting? If so I was there but thought it was earlier. My minds not what it was back then. |

It was great. I Liked REM but wasn’t big into them but I’m a massive Blur fan so went on the fact Blur were the main support. By the end of gig I was converted. Michael Stipe has a great stage presence. The finale with End of the World as we know it was amazing, nearly as good as the suspended giant burgers and Daniels diner on the Blur set. |

Have been to a lot of memorable concerts, but i always think Quo were surprising....... saw them way back in the 80’s, have none of their albums, don’t really like them........ but a mate bought a load of us tickets to go and see them in London’s Hammersmith Odeon for a Christmas concert. I have to admit, I had a thoroughly enjoyable night, they were a fantastic live band and had the crowd eating fro the palms of their hands from start to finish |

I wasn't impressed with Alter Bridge when they performed in Glasgow in December - I was there predominantly for Shinedown who were fab (not in long enough in my opinion) had the arena jumping in comparison to AB!
The best in a whole line of gigs I attended as part of my 50th birthday last year has to be Pink! |

Two great ones for me
Liam Gallagher at Old Trafford a few years ago was fantastic to be part of the crowd Richard Ashcroft was supporting who was on top form too and was probably worth the ticket alone!
The other was DMA's at a 1000 packed out Blackburns King George's Hall, one of my favourite bands and was great to see them live! |

I saw Oasis the same venue about 10 years ago, but I felt that it was so big that the atmosphere was a little flat, but that could have just been them!"
Must of been that particular gig. I’ve always found the acoustics at the MK Bowl good due to it being in a dip. |

Like many have said, way too difficult to chose one out of the many..
Saying that though, small venues and little known bands are memorable and artists that unexpectedly improvise.
My top 3 ‘best’ would be:
Meatloaf
Coldplay
Queen
Worst would be Sting.

Close second, Guns n Roses, Manchester, 1992. GnR were not great, but Soundgarden and Faith No More were amazing."
Wish I'd seen Soundgarden. Superunknown is an amazing album |

"Guns and roses a couple of years back at the Olympic Park..."
I couldn't wait for them finish... 3 hr set, I was stuck half way back, couldn't see a thing and my back was killing me! Compared to seeing them at Wembley Stadium in... 1990? That experience was truly terrifying! |

They were fantastic. They had not long released Badmotorfinger and they were bigger draw for me than GnR were! |

Stereophonics at Wrexham Racecourse stadium the day after Wales beat Belgium in the Eur2016 quarter finals.
Being a Welsh girl, standing in a Welsh stadium listening to one of my favourite bands was just amazing! Never felt prouder to be Welsh, especially when they played the winning goal to open the concert, it was just electric |
