"Had forgotten how bloody good they were!
I've not forgotten how old hearing them makes me feel
Midlife Crisis was my jam when I was 16. Now I just wish I was 30 something "
I know, seems a spate of "this song is 20/30/40 years old this year" at the moment. Yes, thank you for the reminder!!! (She says with The Living Daylights playing ) |

"Propper 80s music band!
I've been listening to a load of them lately; Jellyfish, Black Crowes, Sepultura, Anthrax, Gun.... feeling very nostalgic "
Early pet shop boys were great. And Duran Duran. Love absolute 80s in the car or on Alexa. |

It would either be completely sublime, or too avant garde even for the Mr Bungle fans... |

"Angel Dust was the soundtrack to my first love. I rarely listen to them now. Too many memories.oddly enough I've been playing that in the cat today.
Car! "
It’s much more amusing to thing it was playing in a cat..
Also, OP well done on your rediscovery!!
I love doing music and film “archeology”, where you find something you’ve not heard or seen for ages and discover its amazing!!! |

I do enjoy that feeling. Better still if it's something you bought years ago and didn't really like, but you listen now with new ears and it's like a whole new experience. Finding new love for music you previously disliked is a marvellous thing. |

"Original line up "
As in, Introduce Yourself lineup? Chuck Mosley?
I saw Chuck playing a solo gig a few years ago, in a tiny venue underneath a grotty Birmingham pub. It was basically Chuck Mosley, on an acoustic guitar, on a LOT of drugs. It was haphazard, out of time, and frankly really quite strange, but for all the utter shambles of it I found it incredibly compelling and seriously chilled. I felt like I was on drugs by the end of it.
But anyways, his support band was an excellent Faith No More tribute band (they went by the name "Faith No Man" and they were really very very good indeed) and for an encore he got them to set up again, and performed "As The Worm Turns" with them. It was an incredible moment for us couple of dozen audience members, but can you imagine being the band? You're a FNM tribute band, and one sweaty Thursday evening in Birmingham you find yourself on stage performing a classic faith no more song with Chuck fucking Mosley on vocals?! INSANE. |

Faut No More are amazing!
The Real Thing will always be a firm favourite of mine for the rest of my life.
Mike Pattons side project Peeping Tom is well worth a listen too |

Peeping Tom are mint. I saw them at the Wulfrun in Wolverhampton, it was immense. Rahzel blew my mind, he did a beatbox solo where he beatboxed Black Sabbath's "Ironman" and did drums, guitar riff and vocal ALL AT THE SAME TIME |
