Getting back up again: fitness reboot
Jump to: Newest in thread
General ideas post, for me and others.
My fitness had been going well until I came down with Covid. I know others have suffered because the gym or other outlets haven't been available. (I know others are doing well)
How are you doing with your fitness? How are you rebuilding? What are the challenges in doing so? |

I’ve started rebuilding after injury. Still not right but not exercising is driving me up the wall!
Using the beach body programs to get back to where I was! |

I'm freezing my gym membership for awhile.
I still have breathing discomfort (not pain) after walking. But I'm walking. Starting a minimal routine and getting my diet more in order starting this week.
I'm done surviving. It's time to live again. |

I'm one of those annoying people coming out of lockdown arguably at least as fit as I went in. Commuting by bike or foot through much of it and nothing to do on a weekend other than long walks has maintained my fitness nicely and seen my weight drop to the lightest ice been in over a decade |

I’m struggling with weight stuff, took me ages to find websites that had equipment in stock and by the time I had I’d lost all motivation (and what little muscle strength I’d gained pre lockdown!). I’m trying to keep up my running as much as possible but due to being exhausted with work it has slipped a little ... |

Since lockdown, I missed the gym, boxing and circuit training. I have done a lot of walking and mounting biking, but it's not the same intensity. Luckily one of staff members at the gym, decided to do open circuit training. It's was awesome, but so hard when you haven't trained for ages.
I have recently purchased some weights from Argos, not bad 50kg of weights and bars for £50. If anyone is looking for gym equipment, I recommend Argos. |

With out the gym , I’ve been drinking copious amounts of wine nightly..... I have no desire to go back to the gym.... My only request now is to ask my family to take me outside and shoot me...

It is going fine and I am in a really good shape too. I am training at home and I have been doing so the last half year. I prefer to train at home as you save alot time of time by doing so as well |

I’m itching to get back to the gym myself, the 25th can’t come soon enough. I’ve just stared again with tracking my food and drink and also been trying to get my 10k steps per day. As of next week I will be doing 100 air squats per day. Gutted as I’d just got my back squat to a good level but now have to restart |
