What are people's thoughts / experiences on partners being on their phone in bed?
Personally I have found with a few partners it's limited the connection between people (in both a sexual and non-sexual way).
Has anyone else experienced something similar? |

I typically don't use my phone in bed because it makes it harder to go to sleep. Not sure about the connection thing though. My husband and I cuddle and watch funny videos together when I do have my phone in the bedroom so we connect more over that  |

I was once with a woman who started texting somebody while we were having sex. That was quite off-putting! I felt like she wasn't really all that into it.
Fortunately I have learned a lot since then and am much better in bed. Whilst I think she was a bit rude I still hold myself primarily responsible for not engaging her sufficiently.
Incidentally, that's the only time anything like that ever happened. |

Every night at 8 me and my husband put our phones to one side and watch a film together have cuddles and catch up on each other’s days ...I know a couple who text each other while there both in the same house .Personally I don’t think that’s healthy for a relationship. |

Death of people conversing ! We all used to talk Before the smartphone !
At home we have a set time to sort out the dreaded phone usually in the mornings and before dinner ,if it rings you answer as long as it isn’t some twat asking if you’ve had an accident.
Mr loves the forums but that’s his work pc and he multi tasks,I’ve known people to message on apps on the bog it’s just wrong ! |
