16 years I've had them, I've tried all the drugs going, well prescribed anyway and won't even think of illegal stuff, every night now, and most nights I can be 3 or 4 different attacks, does anyone else here suffer can anyone help me please I've just about had enough now. |

Maybe if these stem from a specific time or event you need to get help dealing with that rather than try to stop them happening with medication.
Perhaps a counsellor or psychologist could help if there is a reason you know they are happening.
I had these once when I was pretty ill and had a breakdown, they were exhausting and I'm glad they were short lived.

The treatment depends on the cause of the nightmares, mine are from traumatic events so I underwent EMDR therapy which helped a lot OP.
You could speak to your GP they may be able to refer you to a team for specialist help. |
