Septum piercing

Do any ladies or gents have/had this done? Where does it rate on the pain scale.

I heard a rumour it hurts more than a nipple piercing.

I know everyone is different but a general pain level out of 10?

I had it done and it was the easiest one I've had, had nipple done as well and that hurt a lot more. With piercings I personally think that the piercer can make a hell of a difference,the guy that did my septum has done hundreds and I was comfortable with him doing it.

That's an interesting point. I'm booked to get it done, I was just wondering as I've seen so many conflicting accounts of pain.

Mine was the least painful of all of my piercings (and I have a fair few- hands down nipples were the worst).

It was a very sharp pain but was over in 5 seconds and only really hurt afterwards if I had to itch/blow my nose or I knocked it on my pillow. Healed fully in about 6/7 weeks.x

I have both my septum and my nipples done, think the amount of pain was about same. Very much tolerable.

But since every person is different when it comes to that your experience may vary... you just cant compare these things i think

To be honest I didn't even realise it was done,but keeping clean hole it heals is a pain

I've had mine done twice in the past, the nipples were more painful in my opinion.

I'd rate nipples about a 4 and the septum a 2.5-3
