Never been a big fan of facial hair or long hair on men..Possibly something to do with been a hairdresser and liking a nice clean cut on a guy....But......since I've reopened after lockdown I must say I've had lots more guys coming in with some rather nice beards, and I've come to the conclusion that they are quite sexy on some men..To men do you have the beards because its fashionable atm or because you feel it suits you or both,or just that you can't be arsed to take it off.?
To the women..Have you always liked beards or is it just a recent thing...? |

I have had a beard since about the age of 16, because my eyebrows are that thick it balances the weight of my head. Otherwise I walk around looking up at the sky all the time. |

"Have you moved on the hair at all... "
Well when they sit in my hair with it long I really have an urge to whip it all off . I really don't like the whole ponytail thing at all. If its naturally curls with a little length I like. Other than that no. |

They are vile to kiss or to have anywhere near your skin.

I grew a dreadful bumfluff goatee as a teenager, and have had some form of hair on my face ever since. Be it a Beppe, a Fred Durst, Mutton chops or a Giant Haystacks. I shave once in a blue moon, but my face looks fat and old without a beard these days so it's here to stay.
I suppose I got fashionable by accident. Now if only male pattern baldness and a beer belly come into fashion, I'll be at the height of couture. |

I have beard because it suits me, and usually don't care about people opinion. Seeing that it is my face also without beard I get asked every time ID.
Beard and moustache were more in fashion than not world war changed that I think. |

My dad always had one so I guess trying to emulate my hero has quite a lot to do with why I grew the beard but M and the kids now hate it when I shave so its here for good |

I’ve rocked the long hair and beard Viking look for over half my life, shaved the beard off post lockdown I didn’t look right and definitely don’t suit the clean shaven short hair look... |

I have it cause I think it suits my face. Ive had stubble, goatees, short and medium length beards. I wouldnt mind a long beard but when you get to a certain length I get paranoid about its cleanliness. Also cause of how my hair is if I shave (which I do to shape it) it leaves me with rashes cause of how prickly the cut hairs are. |

a quandary, could you change my mind? |
I'm to lazy to grow a beard, a little stubble perhaps at times.. its got to be clean shaven.
As for head hair, longest hair I've had since i was four feet shorter (my curls have almost returned)

I'm the same, i love a clean shaven face, a tiny bit of stubble is ok but clean shaven is much nicer. I can't bring myself to kiss a guy with a beard x |

The Mr was beard free for 15 years of our married life because I couldn’t stand them and then something changed and he’s been bearded for the last 6/7 years and now I love it now. He’s neatly trimmed but bearded and it’s the only bodily hair that I allow... |

I've had a beard for 10 years if varying lengths. I did shave it off once but didn't like the face that emerged.
I now keep a beard because it suits me. It gives me confidence and I will never shave it off again.
As for kissing... I have never had any complaints |

"To men do you have the beards because its fashionable atm or because you feel it suits you or both,or just that you can't be arsed to take it off.?"
Bit of both. I grew one after they became trendy and also after realising that all my man-crushes have beards or at least some form of facial hair... and also because I prefer how I look with one vs. without one. I like the masculine, manlyness of it. I just wish I could get it to fill out a bit more and get that full, dense look while still keeping it relatively short. |

Have you tried the oil for the beard. Helps to strengthen and smooth out the beard. Also massaging it helps alot with beard growth..Especially if you have patchy arrears or thicker in places than others. It stimulates hair growth like on the head. Thats why we give the Indian head massage when washing our clients hair.... |

I wash and massage it a bit in the shower while washing my face but that's about it, other than keeping it trimmed with a body hair trimmer. I've not tried the oil but I think I got a beard kit with some oil in it for christmas nocking about somewhere...
Indian head massage, you say. Hmm, might need to book in for a private session, do you think? |

I have 2 reasons really 1 is simply I like it and make me look not so round headed being of a shaved head dispersition lol, and 2 my ex was very controlling I wasn't aloud friends or to go out alone anywhere and had to shave everyday, I think it came from a bad experience as she was lush for the first few months. |

Before hubby grew a beard (shaved off since), I would have said they were horrible, but I loved his and don't mind others having them, as long as they are soft. Long hair on guys was never something I liked tbh |

"Beard gang!
Yes!
Can we have matching leather jackets, with a rhinestone beard on the back?"
Like your thinking, but think there should be a summer and winter uniform, leather in this heat would be unbearable, not to mention sweaty and who'd want to meet up then? |

I've always messed around with facial hair and even when I just had sideys, I'd only shave once a week.
Grew a big handlebar moustache which was quite a demanding look before growing a massive beard after seeing Grinderman and thought they all looked so sleazy and cool!
I think what I've got now suits and I take very good care of it. |

Originally grew mine out of laziness to shave/valuing sleep over appearances while at uni. Only later did I discover I preferred the look (and originally stopped me getting I.D'd at the bar) so decided to do something with it and keep it in the state it is now! |

I've regrown my beard since the lockdown. I didn't have it for two years but since regrowing it I think I look better with it than I did without |

"I like a neat beard, stubble or no beard. I like the look of a bigger beard but not the feel! "
Out of curiosity, what is it about the feel of the bigger beards you've encountered that you don't like? Have you found them to be too coarse? |

Only ever been without a beard once.... that was last year when I shaved it off completely for charity.... people at work know how hard that was for me to do which is why I raised over £1000.... but its starting to grow back nicely and is past the horrible itchy stage thank fuck! |

I have a beard as I feel I look to baby faced without.
I trim and line mine up so it's not messy.
But I have got the odd complaint about it being ticklish never itchy as I use beard oils. |

"It can really frame a man's face"
Haha swinging both ways and framing beards
Nice one Swing. Seen as you been drip feeding me and exposed a weakness I thought I never had... when social distancing ends the truth shall set us all free at group social events. I don't do online gangbangs because fingering in multiple pies never been my thing.
Even though it will be a lonely online existence for me now you didn't realise being a loner was the norm so lockdown ain't no new "norm" for me... virtually speaking ofcourse.
My beard in person is totally different because I am a real genuine sociable one. So the truth shall set us all free soon.
Thank you for reminding me |
