Would really like a hug right now!

I am really missing the ability to freely go and hug people like before. Sometimes I think I crave more the warmness of a physical touch from someone rather than actual sex.
As a single man, I actually preferred visiting clubs when I had time and I definitely had more luck in having a good flowing conversation with someone and ofcourse the hugs rather than virtually.
Luckily I have still been working full-time during the lockdown period so that has helped kept my mind occupied and have some kind of human interactions in person.
I am staying optimistic that hopefully sometime soon things will start to get more normal and I will be able to meet many of you wonderful people who have been amazingly friendly and kind on the forums and private messages.
Lots of hugs to giveaway.

And me Lilly..I'm a big hugger and I really miss it. I have to put a lot of energy into not hugging as it just comes so naturally. |

I think you think about things more that you can’t have... I know what you mean... I want to cuddle everyone but then I was thinking about it and thought why am I feeling like this now ... I never cuddled my mam and dad before now so why do I want to now? Can you not bubble cuddle someone  ... anyhow here’s a virtual hug (hug) x x |

Hugs definitely boosts up my mood (must be all the oxytocin release).

I agree with you. We have got to have hope and stay optimistic we can get through this unusual times.
I think it has also made me realise the importance of human interactions more and reflect on many of the things some of us may take for granted on our daily lives, when in truth, things may change any second. |

I have actually been thinking very similar to you. Due to working in the NHS I have been maintaining distance with parents who fall in the higher risk categories and unfortunately other family and friends I have I don't normally hug them unless on a special occasion so feel it would be a little weird to start doing so right now.
