I'm listening to a podcast and it's suggesting a gratitude habit as part of taking care of your health.

So. What are you grateful for?

I hear you on life! Breathing at the moment, too. Breathing is good.

I'm grateful that my family are safe. I'm grateful for my strength. My friends. My resilience.

Lots to be grateful for! My family, my partner, my daughter, having a job in these testing times, countryside walks from my front door ... I don’t actually stop to appreciate it enough. You’ve just reminded me to do that, OP, so thank you

I appreciate loads of stuff, today I'm really appreciating Amazon prime telly.

I prefer to say all because gratitude sounds a bit too much like religion to me.

Friends and the support and just general love that oozes out of them.

Being cared for.

Having a job in a time where things are crumbling around so many people and uncertainty faces millions.

Passion. There's something beautiful about passion (I'm not talking bedroom passion, I'm talking having drive and belief in something)

I think there's fuzzy boundaries between this kind of stuff (see also mindfulness, loving-kindness, etc) and particularly Buddhism which it tends to borrow from. I get why that's not ideal.

I am grateful that I currently have no work on the horizon and don’t know when I will next earn any money because I believe something new and more important will emerge. I’m grateful that I feel scared about it because I am also hopeful and trust something will arise.

A life coach once advised me to do this. I kept it up for about a month - was the happiest month of my life. It works

Little habits like this can make a big difference to our mental health.

The sentiment is nice - but like many people I'm better on my own.

After years of living with other people I cherish my home and my space.

It's not something to be sad about.

Exactly the same, I’ve had my lads down for the week. Now enjoying the solitude I don’t need a partner, I’m happy alone currently
