He has his own chest freezer as he’s on a raw meat diet ,I think anyone going near a freezer here may well be in trouble lol

Mr does brine a lot of meat for the bbq apparently very popular in USA and it is so moist once cooked.

Latest was a sticky bbq beef short rib with Jack Daniels in the sauce ,absolutely fantastic it was

I can see that working really well, because the salt will preserve and mature the meat at the same time, so you'll have plenty of flavour and moisture.

As for your mastiff, I love big dogs, hopefully he will like me as well haha

Nothing like a beef short rib to make you feel all caveman like.

My own preference would be a very thick ribeye smoked and reverse seared over charcoal. Seasoning: salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Lately I’ve got into pork belly sticky char siu pork

Marinaded first for two days in the mix

Slow roasted

Cool

Carve n freeze

Lovely with steam rice ,pak Choi and a hoisin drizzle

I like a woman who enjoys a bit of meat. Last couple of girlfriends I had were both vegetarian. I really couldn't do that again.

Plus I don't like aubergine. No vegans or vegetarians for me.

That sounds delish, my pak chois are still growing, once they are ready to harvest, I will do some amazing stir fries

Speaking of which, I need to rub my meat with some proper seasoning. Need to marinate it for tomorrow's lunch. Its nothing fancy, just pork shoulder steak.
